【摘要】:Thistestmethod,forthedeterminationofproteinlevelsinNR,isprimarilyintendedtotestNRmaterialsforresidualproteincontent.Itisassumedthatallwhousethistestmethodwillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratory.1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticaltestfordeterminingtheamountoftotalaqueousextractableproteinassociatedwithnaturalrubber(NR)anditsproducts.Watersolubleproteinsareextractedinabuffersolutionandthenprecipitatedtoconcentratethemandalsotoseparatethemfromwatersolublesubstancesthatmayinterferewiththedetermination.TheextractedproteinisredissolvedandquantifiedcolorimetricallybythemodifiedLowrymethodusingaproteinstandard.1.2Forthepurposeofthistestmethod,therangeofproteinmeasurementwillbebasedonthelimitofdetectionandquantitationandrecordedinmicrogramsperdm2NRspecimen.1.3Thetestmethodisdesignedtobeaccurateandcompatiblewiththeindustrialenvironment.1.4Stepsareincludedinthistestmethodtominimizetheeffectsofinterferingsubstances.1.5Itisrecognizedthatothermethodsfortheanalysisofleachableproteinsexistandthesemaybeusedforroutinequalitycontrolpurposesprovidedtheyhavebeenvalidatedandacorrelationestablishedagainstthereferencemethodspecifiedbythistestmethod.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
