【摘要】:ThispartofISO14713providesguidelinesandrecommendationsregardingthegeneralprinciplesofdesignthatareappropriateforarticlestobesherardizedforcorrosionprotection.Theprotectionaffordedbythesherardizedcoatingtothearticlewilldependuponthemethodofapplicationofthecoating,thedesignofthearticleandthespecificenvironmenttowhichthearticleisexposed.Thesherardizedarticlecanbefurtherprotectedbyapplicationofadditionalcoatings(outsidethescopeofthispartofISO14713),suchasorganiccoatings(wetpaintsorpowdercoatings).Whenappliedtosherardizedarticles,thiscombinationofcoatingsisoftenknownasa"duplexsystem".GeneralguidanceonthissubjectcanbefoundinISO12944-5andEN13438.ThemaintenanceofcorrosionprotectioninserviceforsteelwithsherardizedcoatingsisoutsidethescopeofthispartofISO14713.Specificproduct-relatedrequirements(e.g.forsherardizedcoatingsonfastenersortubes,etc.)willtakeprecedenceoverthesegeneralrecommendations.
