【摘要】:ThisStandarddescribesthereferencemethodusedfortypetestingandincasesofdisputefordeterminingthepolishedstonevalue(PSV)ofacoarseaggregateusedinroadsurfacings.Forotherpurposes,inparticularfactoryproductioncontrol,othermethodsmaybeusedprovidedthatanappropriateworkingrelationshipwiththereferencemethodhasbeenestablished.AnnexAdescribesanoptionalmethodforthedeterminationoftheaggregateabrasionvalue(AAV).NOTETheAAVmethodshouldbeusedwhenparticulartypesofskidresistantaggregates(typicallythosewithaPSVof60orgreater)whichcanbesusceptibletoabrasionundertraffic,arerequired.
