【摘要】:ThispartofthisEuropeanPrestandardspecifiesatestmethodfordeterminingtheabilityofaverticalprotectivemembrane,whenusedasafireresistantbarrier,tocontributetothefireresistanceofloadbearingverticalstructuralbuildingmembersfabricatedfromsteel,concrete,steel/concretecompositesortimber.Themethoddescribedisapplicabletoanytypeofverticalprotectivemembrane,whichcanbeassociatedwithaseparatebracingmembrane.Theverticalprotectivemembranecanbeseparatefromthestructuralbuildingmemberandbeselfsupportingorcanbeattachedtothestructuralbuildingmemberandcanformpartofanyloadbearingstructure.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoverticalprotectivemembraneswherethereisaseparatinggapofatleast5mmsizebetweentheverticalprotectivemembraneandthestructuralbuildingmember,otherwisealternativetestmethodsENV13381-3,ENV13381-4,ENV13381-6orENV13381-7shouldbeusedasappropriateThistestmethodandassessmentisnotapplicabletothefollowing:a)allsituationswherethecavitybehindtheverticalprotectivemembranecontainsmorethanaspecifiedamountofcombustiblematerials,e.g.electricalcablesandpipes,otherthanwheretimberstructuralmembersthemselvesarerequired;b)allsituationswherethecavityistobeusedasaserviceorventilationshaft;c)allsituationswheretheverticalprotectivemembraneactsasabracingmembrane.ThisEuropeanPrestandardcontainsthefiretestwhichspecifiesthetestswhichshouldbecarriedoutwherebytheverticalprotectivemembranetogetherwiththestructuralmembertobeprotectedisexposedtothespecifiedfire.Thefireexposure,tothestandardtemperature/timecurvegiveninEN1363-1,isappliedtothesidewhichwouldbeexposedinpractice.Thetestmethodmakesprovision,throughspecifiedoptionaladditionalprocedures,forthecollectionofdatawhichcanbeusedasdirectinputtothecalculationoffireresistanceaccordingtotheprocessesgiveninENV1992-1-2,ENV1993-1-2,ENV1994-1-2andENV1995-1-2.ThisEuropeanPrestandardalsocontainstheassessmentwhichprovidesinformationrelativetotheanalysisofthetestdataandgivesguidancefortheinterpretationoftheresultsofthefiretest,intermsofloadbearingcapacitycriteriaoftheprotectedverticalstructuralmember.Theresultsofthefiretestandtheassessmentcanbeapplied,withcertaindefinedprovisions,toverticalstructuralbuildingmemberswhichcanbebeams,columnsoracombinationofbothand/orwhichcouldformpartofaseparatingelementorpartition.Thelimitsofapplicabilityoftheresultsoftheassessmentarisingfromthefiretestaredefined,togetherwithpermitteddirectapplicationoftheresultstodifferentstructures,membranesandfittings.
