【摘要】:MethodsoftestingRefractorymaterialsThisSectionofBS1902:Part5hasbeenpreparedunderthedirectionoftheRefractoryProductsStandardsPolicyCommittee.ItsupersedesBS1902:Section5.0:1983,whichiswithdrawn.ThisSectionservesasanintroductiontothewholeofPart5ofBS1902,thegeneralarrangementofwhichisshownonthefollowingpage,togetherwithalistoftheSectionsofPart5.TheSectionsarepublishedseparately.EachmethodinPart5issuitableforuseasalaboratorymethod,orasarefereemethod,unlessotherwisestatedinthescopeoftheSectionconcerned.AnyappendicestotheSectionsofPart5describealternativemethods,oralternativestosomeportionsofthemethods,whichmaybeusedinthecircumstancesdescribedintheintroductiontotheappendixconcerned.UnlessotherwisespecifiedinthescopeoftheSectionconcerned,eachmethodisapplicabletobothdenseshapedandshapedinsulatingproducts.Atthetimeofpublishingthisrevision,Europeanstandardsarebeingpreparedforsomeofthemethodslisted,whichthereforehavenotbeenrecentlyreviewed.CompliancewithaBritishStandarddoesnotofitselfconferimmunityfromlegalobligations.
