【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodshouldserveasaguidein,butnotasthesolebasisfor,selectionofaggregatesforuseinsulfurpolymercementconcreteandotherchemical-resistantpolymerconcretesforaparticularapplication.Noattempthasbeenmadetoincorporateinthetestmethodallthevariousfactorsthatmayaffecttheperformanceofamaterialwhensubjectedtoactualservice.Thistestmethodassistsindeterminingwhetheraggregatesaresusceptibletoattackbysolutionsintheenvironmentofintendeduse.Thisisnotatestforpermeabilityandresultsarenottobeinterpretedasameasurementof,orindicationof,permeabilityofthematerialtested.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheeffectsofselectedenvironmentsonaggregatesforuseinmanufacturingsulfurpolymercementconcrete(SC)andotherchemicalresistantpolymerconcretes.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesinthestandardmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
