【摘要】:Thisstandardisapplicabletomains-poweredorbattery-poweredinformationtechnologyequipment,includingelectricalbusinessequipmentandassociatedequipment,withaRATEDVOLTAGEnotexceeding600V.Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletosuchinformationtechnologyequipment:?designedforuseastelecommunicationterminalequipmentandTELECOMMUNICATIONNETWORKinfrastructureequipment,regardlessofthesourceofpower;?designedandintendedtobeconnecteddirectlyto,orusedasinfrastructureequipmentin,aCABLEDISTRIBUTIONSYSTEM,regardlessofthesourceofpower;?designedtousetheACMAINSSUPPLYasacommunicationtransmissionmedium(seeClause6,Note4and7.1,Note4).Thisstandardisalsoapplicabletocomponentsandsubassembliesintendedforincorporationininformationtechnologyequipment.Itisnotexpectedthatsuchcomponentsandsubassembliescomplywitheveryaspectofthestandard,providedthatthecompleteinformationtechnologyequipment,incorporatingsuchcomponentsandsubassemblies,doescomply.NOTE1Examplesofaspectswithwhichuninstalledcomponentsandsubassembliesmaynotcomplyincludethemarkingofthepowerratingandaccesstohazardousparts.NOTE2ThisstandardmaybeappliedtotheelectronicpartsofequipmentevenifthatequipmentdoesnotwhollyfallwithinitsScope,suchaslarge-scaleairconditioningsystems,firedetectionsystemsandfireextinguishingsystems.Differentrequirementsmaybenecessaryforsomeapplications.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsintendedtoreducerisksoffire,electricshockorinjuryfortheOPERATORandlaymanwhomaycomeintocontactwiththeequipmentand,wherespecificallystated,foraSERVICEPERSON.Thisstandardisintendedtoreducesuchriskswithrespecttoinstalledequipment,whetheritconsistsofasystemofinterconnectedunitsorindependentunits,subjecttoinstalling,operatingandmaintainingtheequipmentinthemannerprescribedbythemanufacturer.
